Core Subjects

Like traditional schools, language, math and the arts form our core subjects. Unlike traditional schools, however, an individualized curriculum will be developed for every Free Roots student based on his or her needs. Working as a team, each student’s parents and guides, together with the student, will select curricula and teaching style that bests suits that child.

Other Academics

In addition to the core subjects, Free Roots offers a morning explorations period for students based on their interests. In the afternoon, a selection of elective classes are offered that cover a variety of subjects and disciplines, provided in engaging ways. Students will also earn merits for achieving personally set goals.

Christian Support

A chapel service is offered weekly during which students can develop their Biblical knowledge in engaging ways and grow their faith. Bible study classes are also offered as an elective.

The Free Roots Learning Center admits students of any race, color, national origin and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It doesn’t discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
